My idea was to develop a cookbook that
students will find useful and one that would
increase their skill and knowledge of basic
food preparation. Many of the recipes can
be prepared as a snack, for lunch, or for
dinner; and take 15 minutes or less to prepare.
During college I enrolled in a few food
service classes and learned some basic techniques.
I love creating my own cuisine. I have always
strived to make meals that are delicious
and cost effective. Later I started creating
menus and preparing foods for my own parties,
as well as for family and friends’
special occasions. For a short period of
time I developed and prepared healthy lunches
for several of my coworkers.
The ability to choose common ingredients
and combine those ingredients with spices
to create a delicious dish for your self,
your family and your friends is a great
feeling. At least it is for me. My hopes
are that by sharing the recipes and techniques
in this cookbook, cooking will be a great
feeling for you too.
I challenge all to approach the food combinations
in Noodles to the Next Level with an open
mind and savor the flavors that you will
find equal to the “comfort foods”
from home. Be creative and enjoy!
